the "important" topics

i think this is a good idea, having the ! at the front of the thread title to draw attention - but i think it is annoying how they stay at the top of the page forever because im SOOOO sick of looking at the same messages, and they are also no longer as important as they were when posted... maybe an important topic should have an expiry date, where after 10 days it is moved down the list like all the other topics??

I don't know if only admins can do it or not but Vicki you should be able to click down at the bottom of the message on feature topic and make a new topic a feature and/or stop it from being a feature topic.

yeah i looked again , theres no option to turn it off on the edit page...
